I want to write in longer lines while lingering today

About love, life, and everything in between.

A lengthy poem for brunch on an easy Saturday

Won’t make one’s heart spin.

One can never undo the befallen past;

But always has the choice to embrace

The dilapidated facts with grace

So they can be left behind fast.

One ought to live the carpe diem;

Venerating the most celebrated Giver of life

Who lavishly refreshes us with love for each strife

To make one’s life beam.

One can never tell how life is going to treat us

But one can show life how to love;

For love is an action verb that shall glove

The numbing hearts roaming around us.

Weekend is lingering time.
