Day 125 in 2017

Walk the night away,

After the rain has stopped dancing,

Along the watery pathway.

Tell me the story worth revealing,

The truth about the passing day.

About what love has been growing,

In your brightly blue sky.

Has it grown teardrop out of striving?

Or sweat for the lack of supply?

Tell me about what the sun has been hearing,

From the chatterbox birds that fly,

Over the land that has been dreaming,

Of the warmth of May.

Tell me more as I am listening,

Tell me more, you shan’t be shy.

Day 122 in 2017

In the companionship of a triple-chocolate donut, a cup of jasmine tea, and a tropical sling bag,

I found comfort and warmth.

We’re having an easy conversation – the four of us,

While passengers queue for the exit.
Tick tock, they’re dwindling…

So are the tea and the donut.

Tick tock, we’re still waiting…

Day 120 in 2017

They say it’s auuwsome to be here,

Diving into a vast ocean of books

With human fish swimming all around,

Trying to get the hook,

Devouring the printing bound by bound.

Young and old of any sort,

Submerged in their own stacks of books,

And they read happily ever after…

It’s an annual humongous book sale in the city.
