The Story of Me and My Blog

My name is Fanny and I am a teacher. I live loving and being loved by my full-of-life husband – we have a fun journey! We love life and see it as a gift from God to be enjoyed, rather than a problem to be solved.

I always believe that it’s better for me to write than to talk, so I learn to blog.

Blogging, I learn more than just writing. I learn to be honest with myself and courageously jot down my ups and downs. At first, I was a bit lost in an identity crisis for my dearly-beloved blog… I was clueless of what kind of identity should I give this blog of mine… I tried personal narrative: naaaah! I tried inspirational writing: hmm, not really… I tried photography: There is hope! πŸ˜€ … After a while, I found the love in poetry in my writing class – thanks to my creative students!

So, I ordained this blog as the blog for poetry and photography… TA-DA! πŸ˜€

My friends know that I love plain steamed rice more than any other food, especially when it’s served hot – newly cooked. I love steamed rice because it’s simply plain, that’s all.

I guess from that simple philosophy you can bet that I love everything simple and plain. Yep, that’s right! But with character and attitude πŸ˜‰

I’m glad that you enjoy the blog… To be honest, I’m not bold enough to call myself a blogger, and you nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award, it’s a wonderful surprise, indeed, for me! πŸ˜€ Thank you!

A drop of word would make my day :D
